Dr Vaibhav Punjabi is an Australian trained Orthopaedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest in primary & revision hip & knee replacement, robotic, minimally invasive & arthroscopic surgery. He specialises in surgery for sporting injuries such as cruciate ligaments, hamstring avulsions & adductor tendon complex (groin) injuries. He also treats upper & lower limb fractures in adults & paediatric patients.Urgent appointments are available.
Dr Punjabi completed his specialist orthopaedic training in a number of busy joint replacement units & trauma centres in Sydney. Notably, Dr Punjabi has completed a one year fellowship working alongside internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon Professor Fares Haddad in London, UK.

Dr Punjabi has published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters relating to Hip Arthroplasty and Prosthetic Joint Infection. He has presented scientific papers at orthopaedic meetings and conferences in Australia and internationally and participates in ongoing research of the hip and knee. Dr Punjabi is accredited at Wollongong Public Hospital. He also works at Wollongong Private, Shellharbour Private and some of the private hospitals in Sydney.
